The RX-2 is a world-renowned grand piano that blends the stately presence of a classic grand with a tonal clarity unmatched in its class. Made in Japan and refurbished at our own Ryuyo Production Facility, the same facility where Kawai's acoustic pianos are built, RX-2 offers professional grand piano performance in a size that's ideal for home, teaching, and studio environments.
From the moment you play your first chord, the RX-2 surrounds you with tonal depth and resonance that fills the room with life. Its solid spruce soundboard and precision-scaled construction deliver a rich, expressive tone suited to everything from quiet home practice to performance settings.
As a Kawai Select Certified instrument, our selected RX grands have passed a comprehensive Multi-Check Technical Inspection - action and regulation, soundboard integrity, strings and pinblock, hammer condition, and cabinet finish, overseen by Kawai factory technicians. Only instruments that meet our strict Kawai factory standards earn Select Certified status, and every one is backed by a 5-year Kawai warranty.
Crafted with precision in Japan and refurbished to grow with you, the RX-2 is perfect for pianists seeking grand piano performance at a more accessible price point.
